Earthquake jolts Dhaka and adjoining areas

An earthquake shook different parts of the country including the capital city at around 10:50am Wednesday (November 8).

Met office said it was a ‘moderate’ tremor, measuring 4.7 on Richter scale.

However, no casualty was reported immediately. The epicenter of the tremor was Tripura state in India.

However, many were seen coming out of their highly-rised residential buildings.
