East West University (EWU) received the best taxpayer award from the National Board of Revenue(NBR). The University has awarded as the second highest tax payer in Association of Persons (Bakti Sangha) category.
The award ceremony was held on 08 November 2017, Wednesday at the NBR Building, Agargaon, Dhaka.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, State Minister for Finance MA Mannan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Ministry, Dr. Abdur Razzak MP, Chairman of NBR Md. Nojibur Rahman along with others senior officials of NBR were present on the Occasion. Professor Dr. M. M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor of EWU and A.Z.M. Shafiqul Alam, Treasurer of EWU were the award recipients on behalf of the University on the ceremony.
