Robi hands over prize to the winners of Hamd-Naat contest

Leading mobile phone operator, Robi has recently handed over prizes to the winners of the Hamd-Naat contest. Robi’s Vice President, Communication and Corporate Responsibility, Ekram Kabir handed over the prizes among the winners at a ceremony held in Robi Corporate Office.

Md. Saiful Islam from Laksham in Comilla became the Grand Winner in Tilawat category; Hafez Mahmudul Haque from the same place became the first runner-up in the same category and Tofail Ahmed from Trishal, Mymensingh became the second runner-up under Hamd-Naat category. The grand prize winner received a cheque of one lakh taka; the first runner-up received a cheque of 25,000 taka and the second runner-up received 25,000 taka as prize money.

Robi users could take part in the contest through IVR and Android Application. The IVR, access modality allowed users to record as per their choice with option to personalize their recordings. While, the app option offered customers an audio-video module that allowed them to share content in Facebook/user-score with their friends and family. The users could use the studio effects like reverb, echo etc. while compiling their contest submissions.

A panel of specialists selected best 30 contents from all categories (Hamd, Naat and Quran Tilawat) from App and IVR and out of which three winners were finalized as grand winner, first and second runner up.
