Robi inaugurates WiFi internet service in Dhaka University

Leading digital operator, Robi, has inaugurated the high-speed WiFi internet service for five residential halls of Dhaka University today. The facility can will be available for Robi users from today; airtel users will be able to avail the same from Wednesday, 14th February.

Students at the Ruqayyah Hall, the Shamsunnahar Hall, the Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall, the Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitryee Hall and the Kobi Sufia Kamal Hall will be able to enjoy this facility round the clock from now on.

Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the WiFi service at the Dr. Habibullah Conference Hall of Business Faculty building in Dhaka University.

Professor Dr. Zeenat Huda, Provost, Ruqayyah Hall; Dr. Zakia Parveen, Provost, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall; Dr. Supriya Saha, Provost, Shamsunnahar Hall, Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman, Provost, Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall, Dr. Mubina Khondkar, Provost, Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall were present at the programme as the special guests. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Prof. Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies.

In order to enable the students to enjoy the Wi-Fi high-speed internet service, Robi and airtel have introduced a number of exciting mobile data products with a wide variety of validation period; each of the mobile data products come with 300% Wi-Fi internet bonus.
