Prof. Dr. Abdur Razzaque joined as Pro-VC at GUB

Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque has been appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB). Prior to this position, he served in different academic, administrative activities at Green University of Bangladesh including Dean, (Faculty of Science & Engineering) and Chairperson (Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering). He has many years of overseas and local teaching, research and administrative experience in Bangladesh as well as globally renowned universities.

After joining as Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir; Vice Chancellor of GUB; Md. Shahid Ullah, Treasurer and Director of Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Golam Ahmed Faruqui, Dean of Faculty of Business Studies; Professor. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering; Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairperson, Dept. of Textile Engineering; Md. Saiful Islam, Acting Registrar and all GUB family congratulate Dr. Abdur Razzaque.

Prior to this, Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque worked as a Lecturer in Islamic University of Technology (IUT) and joined in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering of University of Dhaka in the year 2004 and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Professor in the year 2005.

Dr. Razzaque obtained his B.Sc. in Applied Physics & Electronic and M.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Dhaka. He obtained his PhD from the Kyung Hee University, South Korea in 2009. During 2009-2011, he worked as a Research Professor in Kyung Hee University, South Korea. In 2012 he joined as Associate Professor and promoted to Professor at the University of Dhaka. He worked as Visiting Professor in Dept. of Computer Science & Information Systems in Stratford University, USA in 2017.
