Samsung Electronics Bangladesh launches movable “Service Vans”

These movable vans will travel from 8 different locations of Rajshahi and 9 different locations of Rangpur

Samsung Electronics Bangladesh, the global leader in consumer electronics has recently launched two movable service vans in Rajshahi and Rangpur division for first time in the history of consumer electronics in Bangladesh. Samsung Electronics Bangladesh has launched the Service Vans in an effort to ensure the best in class aftersales service and drive highest customer satisfaction in remote places where customer faces difficulty getting quality aftersales service.

To get this service, customers need to register their service issues with the customer care center. After registration, these service vans will move to customers’ home along with the engineers from 8 different locations of Rajshahi and 9 different locations of Rangpur. This service is available for the customers of Samsung Home Appliances bought from Samsung Brand Shops and other authorized distributor outlets.

Present at this launching ceremony were Mr. Seungwon Youn, Managing Director, Mr. Firoze Mohahmmad, Head of Consumer Electronics, Mr. Tanveer Shahed, Head of Customer Satisfaction of Samsung Electronics Bangladesh and Mr. Arshad Huq, Chief Operating officer, Mr. Yeamin Sharif Chowdhury, Head of Business of Transcom Electronics Limited, Mr. Khandaker Hafiz, Director, Fair Solutions Ltd.

Mr. Seungwon Youn, Managing Director, Samsung Electronics Bangladesh said, “Samsung is working relentlessly to ensure highest customer satisfaction with its innovative products and best in class aftersales service. For this reason with the launch of service vans we will be able to provide Samsung’s best in class service to the doorsteps of customers based in the remote areas of Rajshahi and Rangpur. This initiative is the first of its kind in Bangladesh so far home appliances and we plan to launch similar initiative throughout other remote areas of Bangladesh to ensure maximum support for Samsung’s customers”.

Samsung’s new service will be entitled for all the customers on buying Samsung home appliances from Samsung Brand Shops, Samsung authorized showrooms of Fair Electronics Limited, Transcom Digital, Electra International, Rangs and Singer.
